Christmas Bulletin
Just a brief bulletin.
Hoping all of you as well as all of us had a decent christmas: I'm just back from family reconnections over christmas and have yet to make contact with the rest of the team - hopefully we'll reconvene for a bit of social bonding on new years eve. Meanwhile, since 21st December when we met up to toast the end of an exciting year and the beginning of a productive year ahead, work has been suspended for private seasonal retreating and recharging of batteries. I tap this out in a home somewhat the worse for various comings and goings; Death on the Nile humming in the background, apart from that the peace of solitude that I'm only partly enjoying since some part of me fantasises that the rest of the world has Death on the Nile humming in a background to festivities continuing without me.. Not entirely a bad feeling but not, either, a fully welcome one..
On 18th Dec Paul and Anita met up with Lyn to talk expenses, gather a little more information and receive our handheld dvd camera for the year! The latter has been a very welcome extra facility by way of Open-Up support for our work and plans to journalise our developments are afoot.
And that's about as much as I have to share with you today. Anxiety within me begins to mount in relation to the work ahead, somehow holidays, however important and necessary they are to enable the pacing of energies we all need, also find me within a few days becoming worried that the equally important matter of momentum may begin to wane - however, this is doubtless a needless worry that is best sent to bed in order to benefit fully from the rest period upon us. This is the part of me that would be better off 'partying' my rest, rather than meditating it..
Happy New Year to everyone - hoping you are able to celebrate endings and beginnings however and with whoever brings you the most pleasure, leisure and peace of mind
