    Important news for all www.open-up.org.uk users - we have now finalised some simple guidelines for anyone who wants to write in discussion groups, on blogs, or on their or other users' profile pages.

    The guidelines are designed to ensure this website remains a safe and constructuve space where users can support each other to challenge mental health discrimination. You can download them from our network page. Please ensure you read them before posting content on our site.

    We've been working on some changes to the site over the last few months, to make life easier for our action network members.

    You can now find out when people are communicating with you on the site, by getting notifications sent to your email address. Every time someone requests you as a contact, sends you a messgage, writes on your wall, or posts in a group you are a member of, we will let you know.

  • BBC's Investigative Journalism

    A wonderful example of BBC investigative journalism on BBC2 tonight (Monday, 1st March '10).  It seems at least four out of every five murders is committed by a "sane" person!  Unfortunately the BBC chose to concentrate its investigation on the minority killed by someone who may have had a mental health problem!!!!
