I am a 25-year-old freelance journalist with a border line type b bipolar personality. I am passionate about raising peoples awareness and acceptance of mental illness, giving people something to giggle about and living life to the full. I am lucky enough to have a supportive family, wonderful friends and a boyfriend whom I am rather taken with. I run a blog, lostinnotation.wordpress.com which I use as a platform for stories I have sourced myself on both a local and national level. This blog is also the home of my feature for 2010; 365 dresses; the Mind project. The feature involves me wearing a different dress every day though I am not able to buy any of the dresses during 2010 and will be therefore dependent on donations and loans. I will be selling on the dresses during the year to raise money for Mind. I will also be writing a blog to go with the images which will share my own experiences of mental illness. In this was I am hoping to remove some of the myths surrounding mental illness and also help others who are going through the same difficulties to know they are not alone.
