Open Up is a grassroots network of people with experience of mental distress, working together towards a world without mental health discrimination. We bring people together through networking, mentoring and training activities to share their ideas, resources and experiences. Our ethos.
Open Up Central Team
Open Up works on both a national and local level. Our central team is based at Mind’s offices in London.

Regional Team
Our central team supports our Regional Co-ordinators – or our ‘on the ground experts’. They in turn use their experience and local knowledge to work alongside with people who want to speak out against discrimination where they live.
Your Regional Co-ordinator is your first port of call if you want to link in to our work in your area. They run events, training, and mentoring groups and they are also responsible for supporting the Open Up Initiatives in their region. Find your Regional Co-ordinator by looking on the list below:
